Bilbao BBK Live takes place on Mount Kobetamendi, above Bilbao. The 2027 edition is announced for 8, 9 and 10 July. Getting thousands of people up a mountain, and above all back down, is what takes the most planning.
How far the taxi can go
Private cars can't go up: the road to the site is closed. In 2026, taxis could drop people off near the entrance until 16:00. After that, the taxi rank was at the old Beyena factory site, about an 800-metre walk from the venue. We'll confirm the 2027 arrangements once the organisers publish their transport plan.
The shuttle buses
The organisers run free buses for wristband holders, leaving from the BEC and from the San Mamés area. If you're staying in the centre, taking a taxi to the shuttle or to the Beyena rank is usually the quickest option.
Getting back in the early hours
When the last concert ends, everyone heads down at once. Book your return at a set time: choose half an hour after the scheduled finish and we'll be waiting at the rank. If your group splits up, meet at that point.
